Cyriel Ruers, Adriaan Craita and Saskia Stolk are currently advising Van Mossel Group in obtaining approval from the European Commission for the acquisition of Germany-based Nord-Ostsee Automobile. Nord-Ostsee operates 40 branches in 24 German cities.
Van Mossel Automotive is active in the sale of new and used passenger cars and light commercial vehicles of various brands via sales locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Germany and the UK. Van Mossel Automotive also owns damage repair shops in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Nord-Ostsee Automobile is active in the sale of new and used passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. NOA also offers maintenance, and repair works for passenger cars as well as trucks. In addition, NOA offers related services (such as car rental) and sells original equipment parts and accessories.
Following the acquisition, the number of employees of the entire Van Mossel Group will increase to over 8,800 and sales to €7.6 billion. Read the press release here. The transaction was also widely covered in the media. See here and here.
