Cyriel Ruers, Adriaan Craita and Bas van Os are advising Glaspoort in obtaining approval from the ACM to acquire approximately 200,000 fiber optic connections from DELTA Fiber. During the second phase investigation, the ACM will further investigate the impact of the acquisition on the relevant telecommunications markets.
Glaspoort is active in the development, realization and operation of fiber networks in medium dense areas and business parks. DELTA Fiber is a telecom provider that has fiber optic and coaxial networks throughout the Netherlands. The intention to enter into the transaction was notified to the ACM on 28 May 2024. On 28 November 2024, the ACM decided that authorization was required for the proposed acquisition. This license was applied for on 13 December 2024.
