In the end of 2015 the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport implemented a motion (in Dutch) of the Dutch House of Representatives to conduct research (in Dutch) regarding the possibilities for cooperation between first-line healthcare providers (eerstelijnszorgaanbieders) under the Dutch Competition Act. At the request of the Ministry of Health, Stichting Economisch Onderzoek (SEO) and Maverick Advocaten will conduct the research and draw up a report. More information about this research project can be found here (in Dutch). The report is expected to be published in the summer of 2016.
