Maverick Advocaten is excited to announce that it strengthens its team with three lawyers and three paralegals.
Joris Ruigewaard joins Maverick Advocaten on 1 September 2016 as an associate. Joris specialises in competition law. He has ample experience with cartel investigations and complex merger notifications amongst others is in the health care sector. He regularly gives lectures at seminars and is a guest lecturer competition at the University of Amsterdam since 2013. Joris graduated in European Law in 2011 (cum laude) at the Radboud University Nijmegen. He previously worked as an associate at Loyens & Loeff.
Marianne Meijssen joins Maverick Advocaten on 1 October 2016 as an associate. Marianne also specialises in competition law. She has ample experience with civil procedures such as large cartel damages claims. Marianne obtained a Bachelor’s degree in European Law School in 2010. In 2012, she obtained two Master’s degrees in International and European Law and in Law and Economics. Marianne previously worked as an associate at Stibbe.
Jeanne Plettenburg was sworn in as a lawyer on 10 August 2016. Jeanne has as lot of experience in competition law and economic regulation (such as telecom, postal services and health care). She obtained her Master’s degree in Law and Economics (cum laude) at Utrecht University in 2015. Jeanne is the second lawyer coming from the internal training program of Maverick Advocaten. Jeanne previously worked as a lawyer and as paralegal at Maverick Advocaten.
