As of 14 August 2023, the team has been expanded with the arrival of Judith Jansen. Judith has particular experience in the Agri & Food sector and assists companies in administrative and civil disputes with public authorities such as the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). For example, she advises companies in the food sector on sustainability, recalls, food safety and labeling.
In the field of competition law, Judith assists companies in investigations by the ACM and the European Commission into violations of the cartel prohibition and abuse of dominance, and she advises companies on cooperation agreements.
Judith studied European Law at Leiden University and completed the postgraduate specialization course in competition law at the Grotius Academy. Until her move to Maverick Advocaten, Judith worked at Defares Advocaten.
