Maverick has advised MC Zuiderzee B.V. regarding the acquisition of the Slotervaartziekenhuis in Amsterdam. MC Zuiderzee had informed the Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) that in their view no approval of the ACM was required for the acquisition of this hospital. To be sure MC Zuiderzee submitted a conditional notification to the ACM. Following this notification the ACM concluded that there was indeed no obligation to notify the acquisition. Therefore, MC Zuiderzee has withdrawn the notification.
