Diederik Schrijvershof successfully assisted NVOS-Orthobanda and members of this Dutch Association of Orthopedic (Shoe-) Technicians with their requests for enforcement of the Healthcare Procurement Regulations to the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). The orthopedic shoe technicians protested against the behaviour of Menzis (healthcare insurer) during the healthcare procurement process for 2017 / 2018. As a result of the requests for enforcement the NZa forced Menzis to modify its procurement process. This is the first time the NZa enforced the Healthcare Procurement Regulations.
