Maverick Advocaten is representing Sandd, the second largest postal services provider in the Netherlands, in preliminary ruling proceedings before the European Court of Justice (case C-256/17). The proceedings are in response to questions raised by the District Court of Rotterdam. The questions relate to the Postal Directive and the cost allocation system of PostNL for the Universal Postal Service. This system forms the basis for the postage stamp price.
