Diederik Schrijvershof notified the European Commission of the creation of a joint venture between Mitsui Rail Capital Europe (MRCE) and Siemens. The joint venture will be active in the field of maintenance of locomotives and it’s headquarters will be established in Rotterdam. The transaction has been notified on the 3rd of April 2018 at the European Commission. Parties expect the approval of the European Commission within the first half on 2018.
