Martijn van de Hel and Adriaan Craita advised Waterland in obtaining approval from the ACM for the acquisition of Van Vulpen.
Waterland is an independent private equity investor. Van Vulpen concerns a contractor in the field of infrastructure projects. It is active in the construction and placement of underground infrastructure used to supply gas, water and electricity to homes, offices and industrial sites. It also specializes in directional drilling, in places where digging is not possible, such as under rivers or railroad lines.
The acquisition was notified to the ACM on 30 December 2022. The ACM approved the acquisition on 24 January 2023.
