Martijn van de Hel and Paul Breithaupt successfully assisted Zandbergen Beheer B.V. (“Zandbergen”) and Van Straalen de Vries Beheer B.V. (“VSDV”) in obtaining approval from the ACM for a merger.
Zandbergen is a family-owned business specialising in the transport of soft drinks, foodstuffs, and building materials. Zandbergen has four offices and nine additional locations in the Netherlands. VSDV is a family-owned logistics company with a fleet consisting of over 600 trucks and several trailers. VSDV has 11 offices and 30 additional locations throughout the Netherlands.
The merger was notified to the ACM on 29 April 2024. The ACM approved the merger on 14 May 2024.
