Martijn van de Hel and Mats Reijman have successfully assisted ToyChamp in obtaining approval from the ACM for the takeover of Intertoys.
ToyChamp is a toy store chain offering (outdoor) toys as well as multimedia, gadgets and school supplies. ToyChamp has branches throughout Belgium and the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, ToyChamp has 26 branches.
Intertoys is a Dutch toy store chain with 200 branches in the Netherlands.
The acquisition was notified to the ACM on 28 October 2024 . The ACM approved the acquisition on 8 November 2024 .
