Diederik Schrijvershof and Paul Breithaupt have successfully assisted Synergia Capital Fund V U.A. in obtaining approval from the Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets (“ACM”) for the acquisition of B.V. Aannemers Inkoop Centrale A.I.C. and DC Materieel B.V.
Synergia is an investment firm whose investments are in mid-market private equity. ln particular, Synergia focuses on investing in companies that operate internationally in niche markets and seek growth through a buy-and-build strategy. AIC is a technical wholesaler of construction machinery, construction equipment and container technology. In addition, AIC has specialized in the rental, repair, calibration and inspection of construction machinery and equipment. DCM is a wholesaler of construction equipment. DCM focuses on construction equipment, power & lighting, storage & transport, tools and climate control (equipment).
The transaction was approved by the ACM on 23 May 2022.
