Martijn van de Hel and Adriaan Craita have assisted Standard Investment in obtaining approval from the ACM for the acquisition of Danish Plast1.
Standard Investment is an investment company that has portfolio companies in several different sectors. Plast1 is a supplier of plastic consumer goods to customers in the European Union and Great Britain. Plast1 focuses in particular on the sale of plastic household and garden articles. In that context Plast1 mainly supplies the retail trade. Action is Plast1's largest customer in the Netherlands.
The acquisition was notified to the ACM on 25 October 2021. The ACM approved the acquisition on 20 December 2021.
