Martijn van de Hel has assisted publishers group Shared Stories Group (SSG) (previously: VBK) with the acquisition of Bruna B.V. SSG publishes hardcopy books, e-books and magazines. Amongst others publishers Atlas Contact, Ambo/Anthos, Veen media and Van Dale form part of its group. Bruna is a retail undertaking which predominantly sells hardcopy books, e-books, magazines and writing materials. Bruna has a network of 248 franchise stores and 48 own stores. The transaction has been cleared by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) on 15 December.
