Martijn van de Hel and Adriaan Craita have assisted the shareholder of Scholle IPN with the sale to SIG Combibloc. Maverick worked alongside Lennaert Posch of Rutgers & Posch, who advised on the M&A transaction. The acquisition involved a sum of $1.53 billion. Scholle IPN is a producer of flexible packaging. SIG Combibloc is a global producer of aseptic carton packaging.
Maverick Advocaten worked closely with the Brussels, London, and Washington D.C. offices of Latham & Watkins on the preparation and filing of merger notifications in the United States, Austria, Germany, Russia and Brazil. Maverick also provided Latham & Watkins with relevant information for (follow-up) questions from various competition authorities (including the UK CMA).
