Martijn van de Hel assisted Rabobank Investments and Rinkelberg Group in obtaining approval from the ACM to acquire joint control of TheFCTRE Holding B.V. (Econic).
Rabobank Investments is an investment company and a subsidiary of Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A.
Econic is a portfolio company of investment company Rinkelberg Capital and is engaged in accelerating the energy transition by providing homes with sustainable heat, power and charging sources. Econic does this by selling and offering as-a-service renewable equipment and associated leasing, service and maintenance and heat/cold delivery services.
The joint venture was notified to the ACM on 26 September 2022. The ACM approved it on 14 October. Also on 26 September 2022, this joint venture was notified to the Bundeskartellamt, the German competition authority. The Bundeskartellamt approved this joint venture on 13 October 2022.
