Diederik Schrijvershof and Paul Breithaupt have successfully assisted QEF B.V. ("Quadrum") in obtaining approval from the Authority for Consumers and Markets ("ACM") for the acquisition of Stora Enso Timber DIY Products B.V. ("Stora Enso Timber").
Quadrum is an independent investment company consisting of four investment funds with a focus on mid-market companies. Stora Enso Timber is currently part of the Finnish-Swedish multinational Stora Enso and is active in the wood processing industry. Stora Enso Timber mainly focusses on the production, storage, and supply of processed wood for the DIY-market in the Benelux.
The acquisition was notified to the ACM on 28 June 2023. ACM approved the acquisition on 13 July 2023.
