Martijn van de Hel, Adriaan Craita en Paul Breithaupt successfully assisted Novamedia B.V. (“Novamedia”) in obtaining approval from the ACM for the integration of Holding Nationale Goede Doelen Loterijen N.V. (“Holding GDL”).
Novamedia is active in setting up and operating Goede Doelen Loterijen worldwide and owns the copyrights of the Postcode Loterij format and all related intellectual property rights, including trademark rights. Holding GDL is the parent company of Nationale Postcode Loterij N.V. and VriendenLoterij N.V. Both are Dutch lotteries established to generate money for charitable organizations.
The concentration was notified to the ACM on March 8, 2024. The ACM approved the transaction on March 26, 2024.
