Diederik Schrijvershof assisted a group of medical specialists during an investigation by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (“ACM”). ACM conducted this investigation in the context of enforcement of the cartel prohibition (Article 6 of the Dutch Competition Act). ACM closed the investigation without imposing any sanctions.
Compliance with the cartel prohibition in the healthcare sector is a constant concern of ACM. This summer, ACM will publish a guideline on cooperation in regional restructuring of healthcare.
