Martijn van de Hel and Adriaan Craita have successfully assisted Marine Olie in securing approval from the European Commission for the acquisition of Marine Olie by STX.
Marine Olie's business activities consist of trading vegetable oils and fats, as well as storing and processing them. These are mainly used as raw materials for the production of animal feed, biodiesel and biological heating oil.
STX trades in biofuels and similar products. In addition, STX offers climate solutions such as reduction strategies and offsetting consulting.
The transaction was notified to the European Commission on 23 October 2024 and was approved by the European Commission on 15 November 2024 .
