Diederik Schrijvershof assisted GIMV in obtaining approval from the ACM for its investment in Variass.
GIMV is a European investment company that focuses on investing in innovative companies in the following future-oriented investment areas: i) Consumer, ii) Health & Care, iii) Smart Industries and iv) Sustainable Cities.
Variass is a high-tech developer and producer of electrical and mechatronic products and systems. Variass is located in Drachten and Veendam. The transaction between GIMV and Variass was notified to the ACM on 18 May 2022. On 1 June 2022 the transaction was approved unconditionally by the ACM.
