Diederik Schrijvershof assisted GroentenFruit Huis regarding the COVID-19 compensation scheme for agricultural and horticultural businesses, published in the Dutch Government Gazette on 8 May 2020. Growers and wholesalers in the agricultural and horticultural sectors may be eligible for this scheme of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality if they are faced with an acute drop in demand for certain perishable goods between 12 March and 11 June 2020. More information on this compensation scheme can be found on the Central Government website and in the Minister’s letter to the Lower House.
