Cyriel Ruers and Mats Reijman assisted ABAB Groep B.V. and Alfa Top-Holding B.V. in obtaining approval from the ACM for their legal merger.
ABAB and Alfa are both accountants and advisors serving, among other things, SME clients throughout the Netherlands, each with a history as an accounting firm for the agricultural sector. The acquisition will create an advisory and accountancy organization of approximately 2,000 employees with working and visiting locations throughout the Netherlands. The transaction was approved by the ACM on February 26, 2024.
