Maverick Advocaten (Martijn van de Hel) and Banning N.V. (Silvia Vinken) have successfully assisted over 50 traders in the appeal proceedings before the Dutch Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal (CBb) against the fine of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). ACM fined the traders for alleged collusion in foreclosure auctions. The CBb has annulled these fines in their entirety. According to the CBb, ACM has not provided sufficient proof of the alleged restriction of competition by the traders. See for more information the press release of the CBb (in Dutch) or the article in Financieele Dagblad (in Dutch).
