Cyriel Ruers and Manon Dupont wrote the Chronicle on Unfair Commercial Practices 2020-2022 for Tijdschrift voor Consumentenrecht & Handelspraktijken (edition 2023/6). They create an overview of the most important developments in the area of European and Dutch jurisprudence, enforcement by the Authority for Consumers and Markets,and legislation (e.g. the Omnibus directive). The Chronicle does a deep dive into scope of UCP directive, different forms of unfair commercial practices, misleading omissions, and aggressive commercial practices.
