Maverick Advocaten has successfully represented Canal+ in interim proceedings before the court in Amsterdam. Satellite operator SES, the parent undertaking of Astra, summoned Canal+ to pay certain fees. In its judgement of 1 November the court has rejected SES' multi-million claim on the ground that they need further factual investigation and can only be assessed in proceedings on the merits.
