Diederik Schrijvershof, together with Antoine Broesterhuizen of Infense Advocaten, successfully assisted Syntus in the procedure brought by Connexxion before the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal (College van Beroep voor het bedrijfsleven, CBb) regarding a tender for bus transport in the province of Utrecht. The CBb rejects the appeal brought by Connexxion against regarding the procurement process for bus transport in the province of Utrecht. The concession was granted to Syntus. Connexxion argued that the province of Utrecht should have investigated whether Syntus during the procurement process had violated the Dutch Competition Act. The CBb comes to a different conclusion and finds no reason for such investigation. Diederik Schrijvershof assisted Syntus with the competition law aspects of this procedure.
